	Shaun Fitzhenry, director and trainer, is an experienced English teacher. He has a degree in English and an education diploma, and taught at secondary school level for a number of years after graduating. After spending almost two years in tourism he decided to travel to Taiwan, where he worked as a kindergarten teacher, and Germany, where he worked as a business English trainer and coach. His experience in this field and knowledge of the market motivated him to enter the language travel business. Melanie Schwarz, responsible for administration and marketing, has worked at management level in the retail industry for a number of years. This entailed scheduling and planning for personnel requirements, maintaining stock levels and sales, as well as budgetary planning. The management and administrative skills she gained during this time ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the institute. She also assists in proofreading and translation. BLI trainers and coaches are native English speakers with: a degree and/or internationally recognised teaching qualification; experience in teaching English, especially business English, and/or business experience. They are highly motivated and open to challenges and new situations, adapting their courses to suit individual needs. To ensure consistent quality, BLI promotes ongoing training and development.
